“Use your talents!”, “Make your dreams come true!” These are phrases that have probably been addressed to each one of us at some point in our lives.

And like me, you probably wondered: what dreams, and how? And again like me, you also may have bought books with titles like: 'This is your year!' and 'Dare to live your dream' I bought such books alright, but never got to read them. Something was lacking. I now realise, it was simply the right dreams that were missing. It was apparent; I first had to get to this special place, where my dream could commence.


Agriturismo I Pitti - Serravalle Pistoiese - Tuscany - Italy,late summer 2012. This is where my dream came to life and where I found the inspiration I needed. 'I Pitti' is an agricultural farm in the heart of Tuscany that accommodates tourists in the summer. The old structure used to be a stage post between Lucca and Pistoia and it is said that even Leonardo da Vinci stayed here. It is located at the top of a hill, amidst an olive garden, with breathtaking views of the surrounding hills and the towers of Serravalle Pistoiese. The thick stone walls, the wooden ceiling beams and the iron four-poster beds, make you feel surrounded by the magic of the past. Here, the time of Michelangelo and Leonardo seems to live on. At night the skyline is beautifully decorated with the numerous lights from the valley. Once you're here, you cannot help dreaming…
